Ideal home for pups: Financially secure couple or single male/female without small children or other pets, and a very large-fenced yard with a electrical fence reinforcement. The dogs were raised with room to roam so they have a calm nature. They are comfortable inhabiting the outside and inside evirons and are used to traveling by car, truck, and RV.
Ideal home for Seaweed: Financially sound, mid-age or older couple, or single male/female without children or pets who desires a ready and capable companion. There must be a fenced yard with electrical fence capability and a doggy-door scenario. Seaweed is much happier inside than outside unless you are out there with him but must have potty breaks often throughout the day. Also an exceptional traveler, he just wants to be near you. He is petrified of thunder and loud noises but given a secure darkened crate, calms down to weather the storm.
All dogs are aggressive toward other dogs and feel that cats are an anathema. Short of the miracle of finding the ideal forever home, I would be happy with a highly respected foster home.
Hello, I am Seaweed. I am a 12 year old male. Not neutered – but I‟ve given up chasing girls. (No harm in sniffing though). I am extremely good natured, just a good "ol" dog. I‟m most happy resting in a climate controlled environ and taking frequent walks. I also enjoy going into the yard and sniffing about for critters. I love and welcome attention, car-rides, treats (although I advise against too many – I can be a glut if I don‟t have someone to help me with that), I love having a routine, and someone to help do a job, in other words, I am a great companion. I am very good at sounding a warning if needed. When I am given the time to catch geckos, I am a master gecko blaster & snake charmer. Having said that, I am terrified of thunderstorms but a quiet, secure place helps me calm down. My prostrate is enlarged but the Vet assures me it is still uniform. I have a weakened transverse abdominal muscle so I need small whole food meals. I do not tolerate other dogs well and firmly believe cats are “the bad guys”.
My name is Snatchit. I‟m 2 years old, neutered, and have a solid understanding of the balance between male and female energy.
I am a little spiritual love. I am very intuitive, gentle, intelligent, adventurous, and well behaved. I love car rides, walks, runs on the beach, and when the day‟s adventure is done, I am an exceptional snuggler. I possess just enough JRT-independence to be very entertaining yet I‟m a willing and capable companion! I mostly get along very well with my brother and Dad, so I would
be challenged with other pets at first. I believe that cats are an unjust situation. Mom & Dad taught all of us they were the “bad guys”. However, I am pretty intelligent, so it is possible
I can be trained to believe otherwise.
Oh yeah, I LOVE to play water games with the hose!
Here we are with Mom.
I'm Shooter Joe (all wet from the hose) . I am a 2 yr old neutered
male Parson Terrier and I‟m up for everything play oriented! I love car-rides, running on the beach, walks, adventures, water/hose games & am very intelligent and entertaining. My job is to spy geckos, snakes, or anything that moves(we are all great hunters). I‟m a little timid around other dogs and some people, so I initially put on my “ I‟m a tuffy” Parson Terrier mask, but then I can calm down and become very well behaved, playful, and loving. I thrive on positive feedback, a little attention, and lots of companionship! It would be the best of all possible worlds to be adopted with my brother – we do keep each other good company when our current owner is unable to be around. (helps with the loneliness). Put together in the right order, our black and white markings look like
bookends! Here we are with Mom.
